I meant to put some before and after shots of the crib!

Here it is pre-sanding:

In great shape, just a couple nicks here and there, but too dark for the nursery.

After sanding:

I definitely think it was worth the work :).

The only other things I plan on painting are three picture frames that go over the crib.  They didn’t have any (cheap) white frames at Hobby Lobby, so we bought brown ones that were on sale for $6 and I’ll paint them with some leftover semi-gloss white trim paint.  Then, add matting, the pictures, and VOILA, we’ll have lovely pictures on the wall!
