Nursery art

Katie sent these pages from an old children’s book that had been damaged.

I’m going to trim them up and mount them in frames with these yellow and orange colors as matting (thick, textured paper because I couldn’t find photo mat in the color I wanted).

I’m headed to IKEA with a friend tomorrow, and I think I’ll pick up a couple wide, white picture frames.

In the meantime, today I’m also sewing flannel baby blankets!  I’m making several larger ones (45″) and several smaller (36″) in neutral colors – mostly blues, yellows and whites :).

  1. Sweet! I can’t wait to start sewing for that little one….I’m thinking it’s a girl. I’m not as definite as I was for Annaliese when I bought the Moses basket with the pink toile lining! Of course, I dreamed David was a girl! Hugs, Mom
